At least ten more people died and two hundred were injured in Israel overnight during Iran’s missile attacks on residential areas in the central and northern parts of the country.
Meanwhile, Israel continued to hit strategic targets on Iranian territory on Saturday, and on Sunday issued a warning to residents of Iran living near nuclear reactors, urging them to evacuate.
Yemen’s Houthis said they also fired missiles against Israel during the night.
The meeting in Oman for the 6th round of nuclear talks between Iran and USA, scheduled for today, was eventually cancelled on Saturday, following Israel’s large scale air attack on Iranian nuclear sites.
Third countries have offered to contribute to mediation efforts but Israel has firmely insisted that strikes on Iran will continue.

Tehran’s Shahran oil depot was still in operation after being struck by an Israeli missile, as oil exports resumed between Afghanistan and Iran, the BBC reports.
Israel’s most recent warning to Iran residents near nuclear reactors to evacuate, included all weapons factories and supporting facilities.
“The Israeli military will strike these sites and will continue to peel away the Iranian snake’s skin in Tehran and everywhere — targeting nuclear capabilities and weapons systems,” Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said in a statement.
Israel said the goal of its military operation that started on Friday, was to stop Iran from developing atomic weapons and to take out Iran’s ballistic missile capabilities.
Missile launchers, surface-to-air missiles and surveillance radars belonging to the Iranian regime were attacked on Saturday, according to IDF Spokesperson Avichay Adraee.
“The IDF struck hard at the Iranian nuclear facility in Isfahan. This is a strategic and important facility that did not escape our strikes. We continue to deliver powerful blows to the Iranian regime’s strategic capabilities, especially those related to the nuclear project,” Adraee added.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul told the German public broadcaster ARD on Saturday that Germany, France and Britain are ready to hold immediate talks with Iran over Tehran’s nuclear programme, in an effort to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East, Reuters reports.
The German minister observed that Tehran had previously failed to take the opportunity of constructive talks, but said he hoped that was still possible.
“Germany, together with France and Britain are ready. We’re offering Iran immediate negotiations about the nuclear programme, I hope (the offer) is accepted,” Wadephul commented. “This is also a key prerequisite for reaching a pacification of this conflict, that Iran presents no danger to the region, for the state of Israel or to Europe.”
Earlier though, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer said his country was moving jets and other military assets to the Middle East, refusing to rule out defending Israel from Iranian strikes despite Tehran’s threat that such an action could lead to British bases in the region being targeted.
Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday also expressed his readiness to help mediation efforts, during a call with US President Donald Trump.
Trump on Sunday believed “we can easily get a deal done between Iran and Israel,” and warned Iran against attacking the US “in any way, shape or form.” He also argued that “the U.S. had nothing to do with the attack on Iran, tonight.”
On the other hand, echoeing Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu’s call on the Iranian people to stand up against the regime, Iran’s exiled former crown prince Reza Pahlavi told the BBC that Israel’s attack was “an opportunity for regime change.”
In speaking to Laura Kuenssberg, he called on world powers to “not sit idle, and demonstrate vividly that beyond just imposing sanctions they are prepared to take the next step of giving the Iranian people a sense of support for their fight for democracy and freedom”.
